egnite has released a first trial version of a sensor cloud (palamoa.de). The name Palamoa derives from the Hawaiian word for cloud.
This sets the cornerstone for a flexible IoT platform for interconnected real time applications. Although the test version’s functionality is still restricted, it already allows for the configuration of a so-called dashboard that can visualize the values measured by multiple Querx sensors. A tutorial that helps configure the service is available.
The cloud can be used for free and also supports network sensors by other manufacturers, if they can transmit their data in the JSON format or via HTTP-Post.
