CE declarations of confirmity
The RoHS-Directive 2002/95/EG of the European Union for protection of health and the environment came into force on the 01 July 2006.
What does the RoHS-Directive regulate?
It restricts the use of certain dangerous substances in the production of electrical and electronic equipment. The list of limited substances is made up of heavy metals including lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (CD) and hexavalent chromium (CR VI) as well as the brominated flame retardants PBB and PBDE.
