The integrated web server permits easy configuration and status display with a web browser.
For Windows PCs PN Eye is available, with which sensor values can be stored in log files or passed on to other applications.
An extensive Software Development Kit (SDK) with many examples simplifies the integration into custom applications under Visual Basic, Borland C++, Delphi, Microsoft Visual C++, .NET, C# und Active X.
Network access is secured by password query, IP rage and DIP switches.
Poseidon 3266 supports HTTP (HTML and XML), SMTP, SNMP (Get, Set and Trap) and Modbus/TCP. It is possible to integrate Poseidon in management systems such as SNMPc, LoriotPro, MRTG, Nagios, HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli, CA TNG Unicenter or SCADA.
Network connection is provided by a 10 Mbit Ethernet interface. A 9 to 15 V wall mount adapter is used for power supply.
