The network-enabled water leak detector from HW group is shipped with 2 m sensor cable for conductive liquids such as water, ethylene glycol etc. Power supply is provided over Ethernet cable (PoE, Power over Ethernet) or by an external 5 V wall mount adapter.
HWg-WDL PoE detects as little as a few drops of the liquid along the entire length of the sensing cable. In the case of a leakage the water leak detector alarms by email or SNMP trap. In addition, the integrated box-to-box mode can be used to activate a remote relay output of another HW group device such as Poseidon 3468 or Damocles 1208.
A 2 m connection cable with a 2 m sensor cable is included.
The prolong cables can be extended up to an overall length of 100 m and the sensor cables up to an overall length of 85 m. Sensor cables with 2 m, 10 m and 50 m length are available.
Wet sensor cables can be dried and reused.
The HW group HWg-WLD PoE features a build-in web server and supports SNMP and XML (over HTTP).
An extensive Software Development Kit (HWg-SDK) with many examples simplifies the integration into custom applications under Visual Basic, Borland C++, Delphi, Microsoft Visual C++, .NET, C# und Active X. Furthermore, the HW group software HWg-PD Trigger, HWg-PDMS and CapTemp can be used.
It is possible to integrate HWg-WDL PoE in management systems such as SNMPc, LoriotPro, MRTG, Nagios, HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli, Intellipool or SCADA.
